ETH/BTC/USD chart question..

Hi all, I was hoping for some input from anyone who has studied the long term correlation between ETH/BTC and BTC/USD charts for this period of the bull/bear ~4 year cycle.

I ask because my hope is to sell the majority of my portfolio incrementally over the course of the current bull market, for the purpose of rebuying back in incrementally during the next bear market in 2-3 years. I've been involved in crypto trading since 2016 and have no problem trading on this timeframe.

With this in mind, and considering ETHs very low BTC price currently, would it be a wise move to trade say a third of my portfolio (predominantly in BTC, and the remainder in ETH) for ETH – given that it should at very least double in its BTC trade value this cycle. Maybe BTC will double in USD value this cycle from here, but I'm not personally planning on it.

As I mentioned, whether I'm holding ETH or BTC I still hope to sell the majority over the current bull cycle.
