Cost of Crypto Mining and likelihood of generating money from it

I live in social housing where I don’t pay bills, it’s covered by the Housing Association that provides my accommodation. Given that I don’t pay for my energy myself could I basically set up a mining set up and let it go and basically print free crypto?

And how much would this set up cost and how much time would it take to generate money/crypto from doing this?

Yes yes I know I’m probably massively trivialising thing and be very reductive but it just occurred to me as an idea since I don’t pay for my energy bills
