Is Wat Meme Coin with Etherium legit? I’m worried my uncle is about to be scammed

My uncle, a boomer with little technical knowledge (he can't even do bank transfers by himself) has just bought into this. I don't know if it's through a friend or if he's trying to learn on his own. He posted about it on Facebook so I messaged him thinking he'd been hacked, but he just said "no, it's my ad for crypto 😎". How do I help him come to his senses here? Are there statistics or online resources I can cite to help get the point across? If I just come with a "trust me on this" gut feel, he'll shut me out thinking I'm trying to rain on his parade (my mom, his sister, did the same years ago and even though I saved her a boatload of money, she still never forgave me for some reason. They're very similar people). We live in South Africa.
