securing a MacBook for handling cryptocurrency

Hello everyone,

i am a fairly new MacOS user (previously on windows) and i have read that people dont use any antivirus software as macs are supposed to have superior security compared to windows.

A normal person would probably not need one but i do plan on using different exchanges and wallets ( i can already see my inbox blowing up with scammers cuz i used the trigger word) so i really want to make sure my device is protected from all types of filth and i do not mean cardano.

Hence the question to all the macOS users in here, are you guys using any software?
