Which stablecoin is the best? Storing long term

Hello to all crypto enthusiasts,

the crypto space evolved over the years and iam wondering, which stable coin do you prefer (and for which reasons) for storing your profit from the bull.

Please tell which layer 1 is used and if KYC is optional.

I compare stablecoins with cash, so only cash which isnt tagged to my name, is useful in any moment.

I like privacy and yes, it is also a form of backup from potential bad times.

In the days before cryptocurrencys, i would prefer gold for this backup (which would be bad to travel).
