Do you agree that ethereum is basically useless right now?

I have held eth for a couple years because of the hype. I finally got around to exploring the available dapps right now and it seems like they have close to nothing.

Aave which is the dapp listed on top for DeFi offers a measly 1% yield. The social media apps and gaming apps listed on Ethereum's own website don't work.

When do you think ethereum will actually have some useful dapps?
