Suspecting a scam

I was contacted on telegram by behalf of Whitekube company who told me to pay 20$ worth of USDT every time I subscribe to one of them provided youtube channels. Took my old phone, downloaded telegram, made new gmail account for youtube and subscribe. They paid 20 USDT to my telegram wallet which I was able to exchange for bitcoin. After quick google I found that Whitekube has stated they have never done any of "telegram works" and it's not them who message. What am I missing here? Can they get access to my phone number or my phone? It seems too good to be true.
