Get a Trezor Safe 3 or stay with Ledger Nano S+?
I've had a Nano S+ for around a year and a half or so now, been contemplating getting a Trezor as it's open sourced and seems like a much more trustworthy company. I'm not going to opt in for the seed backup for Ledger, I'm just not sure if its worth buying a new Trezor or if the Ledger is safe enough, I don't have any crazy amounts of money but definitely not something I'm happy to risk losing.
I'm having trouble deciding if it's worth getting a Trezor instead or not as I feel there's a lot of misinformation on either sides of the Ledger good/bad argument. I don't have a lot of fiat at the moment as the cost of living has shot up recently but I'd be able to part with enough to buy a Safe 3.
Just want to hear the community's feedback on what is really true about all this and if I'm safe just continuing to use the Ledger. It's not a device I use often, just very occasionally to receive transactions, other than that it is purely cold storage.
I'm also open to any other suggestions but my price range for a new cold wallet would be only up to around $100USD.
Let me know your thoughts!
