Selling Crypto Issues on Coinbase

Having issues moving my crypto from Ledger to Coinbase (they can't identify my account). I know I initially bought from Coinbase so selling and getting tax forms would be easier and they'd know my cost basis.

Does anyone have any advice for me? Is there another way to sell? Also side question, will gas fees be deducted, I have been keeping track of the costs while buying and transferring crypto
