Bridging Eth from Arbitrum Nova network to Eth on mainnet says takes 7 days?! Future of finance? lol

I’m all for crypto but this is ridiculous..

Recently I went through the technical processes of converting some Moons to Eth on the Arbitrum Nova network— trying to avoid using exchanges.

Then realizing even though it’s still ‘Eth’ it’s on the Arbitrum Nova network (blockchain?).

So now I have to use a bridge from the Arbitrum Nova network Eth to the mainnet Eth. After fumbling through previous steps and finally arriving here- I execute the bridge (this is a smaller sum of Eth, nothing large at all)… only to realize it would take 7 days to process!! And since I started, I can’t cancel!

Ffs if this is the future – there needs to be a fuckton of improvements before any mass adoption takes place.

I use Btc as store of value and it’s great at that. But actually using other crypto is a massive pita. And I have a technical background-/-
