Restore old mist wallet savings

Hey guys, So back in 2017 I bought a couple of ETH and stored it on mist wallet, which is now no longer supported. Back then it was optional to use a Password and I decided to skip it for now and fill it in later.

A month later when I opened the app it asked for my password which I never made. Ever since I'm stuck with a keystore with some Eth on it which I cannot open.

I'm 90% sure I never filled in any Password and I can't reach mist wallet Defs as they shut down. This might be a long shot but I like to know if anyone ever had the same problem or has any tips on how I could retrieve this password.
