Crypto news sites and their use of “…but there’s a catch” (Spoiler Alert: It’s all clickbait!)

Can we all take a moment to talk about crypto-news sites like Cointelegraph or The Daily Hodl or CryptoPotato and their headlines? What's with them keep using their clickbait titles ending in "but there's a catch"? A couple of examples:

They make it sound like they've got some groundbreaking info when they post something like "SEC to approve Ethereum ETF next Thursday!… but there's a catch"—but when you actually read the article, it's all speculation and it's as disappointing as my portfolio after having bought a huge bag of ALGO. I mean, how many times have we been duped (myself included) by their clickbait nonsense?

Seriously, the authors from these crypto news sites couldn't predict rain if they were standing in a freaking monsoon; nobody knows shit about fuck. Maybe they should all quit their day jobs and become fortune cookie writers or something, I mean, how much do they even earn with these articles?

So yeah, I've been fooled by these clickbait headlines more times than I'd like to admit. If you're reading this post, looks like you've been clickbaited too, lol 😅
