Bitcoin ATMs, how common are they in your area?

Just curious as to how many are out there, I hear of them quite a lot but I don't think I've ever actually seen one around, although maybe I have and don't notice, I'm in the UK for reference

And if you have a few near you, have you ever used them? what's it like? how do they compare to regular ATMs?

Only asking as I think they are a great idea and a step further into mainstream adoption, but wonder if the hassle and convenience is holding them back right now

Also seems to defeat the point of Crypto as a payment method as you are exchanging for FIAT, so wonder how that will work in the future
