What’s going on with MATIC?

So, I know I've read a lot of headlines about Matic in the last few weeks including:

Matic declared a security by the SEC (and price crashed).

Matic implied to not be a security by Judge's ruling in the Ripple / XRP summary judgement

Matic changing out becoming…. POL?

Matic will still be used but complimentary to POL?

Keep staking it? Sell it and get out?

A google search for MATIC price predictions range from 0.00$ to 25.34$ in 2030, so…. definitely seems to be no consensus on what's going on with it.

Anyone have any insight or staying on top of the news with MATIC and able to give a summation / prediction / idea as to what's up?
