Staking ETH on Ledger Live

Voyager victim here. I’ve finally transferred out what’s left of my crypto to my ledger and I see there’s a staking option. Before I click on anything, can someone help a PTSD Voyager sucker understand how Staking on Ledger works please? Thank you and be smarter than I’ve been please.
