Now this is a crypto winter.

Cryptocurrency News and Public Mining Pools

Now this is a crypto winter.

It feels like the entire crypto space has been in a never-ending tailspin, with one controversy after another. Welcome to the world of crypto winter.

Every day, subs are filling up with more fear and despair. Ledger recently destroyed their users' trust, atomic wallets have been "hacked," and even the SEC has been attacking the space with no clear direction. These are just a few of the issues that have occurred in the past few days, not to mention the massive meltdowns of FTX, Celsius, LUNA, 3AC, Voyager, BlockFi, and Silvergate.

People are now feeling the pressure. OG wallets have been hacked, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to determine whom to trust. Should we opt for self-custody? And if so, which wallet can we trust? Ledger? Unfortunately, they have a "backdoor." Trezor? They can be physically brute-forced. It seems like every day, a new exploit or bad actor is wreaking havoc in the space. Can we rely on a centralized exchange (CEX)? Well, apparently, none of them can be trusted.

And now, Gensler is on a crusade to classify every digital asset as an unregistered security and attack every exchange. Thank God he's being so active now before billions upon billions are stolen. /s

I bring all this up because this is what a true crypto winter feels like. Is this the bottom? I have no idea, but it certainly feels like "crypto is dead."
