I thought the bear market would be a thrilling ride, but aside from some exciting moments, it is most of all really, really boring. How do you cope with the boredom?

When I pictured the bear, I always thought it would be a thrill: dumps, anxiety, fear. We had some of that, for sure, with the LUNA capitulation and later the FTX collapse. We even saw a pump this year. But most of the time, the bear market is just insanely boring, which surprised me. The price right now hovers around the exact same price it did a year ago. For the past 222 hours, we are moving within a $2k range of 6.66%. The news narratives (in this subreddit) also just repeat themselves. We just saw:
Even this subreddit is incredibly quiet. It reminds me of post FTX times. There's barely any topics and a post gets on the front page with 20 upvotes. Do you agree that the bear market is most of all just really damn boring? And what do you do to battle the boredom? submitted by /u/Beyonderr |
