I know… Why would someone spend roughly 2 ETH on Gen 3 Avatars? I Degen'd into GEN 2 and ended up making ~5 ETH profit so I decided to use some of that profit and try my hand at GEN 3. I made a list of 26 artists that I thought might do well on GEN 3, and minted as many as I could from those artists. I managed to get a few good avatars like two Nyan Cats which cost me $50 and resold for $500 on the secondary market. But I also made a few mistakes like spending $250 on a new artist which has $0 of volume on the secondary market. ———————- Instead of holding my profits and eventually trying to break even; I decided to put that profit into the secondary market on OpenSea, and used it to buy more gen 3, avatars… Now those avatars are underwater and I can say I'm a Verified Degenerate BagHolder. ———————- submitted by /u/GabeSter |
