Governments should be forced to use a CBDC.
Many Redditers have probably seen this John Stewart clip floating around.
In the video JS grills the defense budgeter about the Billions of dollars that went unaccounted for in the department of defense’s budget. This begs the question why don’t the people force state departments to hold budgets in known crypto address. A lot of people say the lack of privacy in CBDCs is a means of control by the government, but the government belongs to the people and we control them. If the Gov wants to enforce a CBDC on its citizens, why should the government itself be exempt? Let’s Make every penny the government spends/sends be public.
