Bitcoin was invented in 2008 by an unknown person or group of people using the name Satoshi Nakamoto. We all know that. We also know that the technology is amazing and that the future of Bitcoin is bright. Many here say that "we are (still) early" for that exact reason.

But I am not sure if people realize just how big Bitcoin really is. It actually just became the 10th most valuable asset in the world by overtaking Tesla (the current #11) and Meta (the current #12). Bitcoin is valued at almost $600 billion. The top 10 looks as follows:

This is pretty damn amazing. Bitcoin's market cap is higher than:

  • Visa (#15) and Mastercard (#26)
  • JPMorgan Chase (#20)
  • Coca-Cola (#34)
  • McDonald (#54)
  • Nike (#59)
  • Walt Disney (#63)
  • Wells Fargo (#83), HSBC (#88), and Morgan Stanley (#89) combined

Did you know this? And how far in the top 10 do you think Bitcoin can go? Can it ever challenge the top 3 (Gold, Apple, and Microsoft)?
