Should i sell my Etheruem now?

sorry if this doesn’t fit the sub, r/ethfinance is not working for me. I know very little about crypto or stocks but a friend told be to invest in Eth before the merge in september of last year so i foolishly bought it on the 11th when it was $1,761… yeah, pretty stupid. but now i see it’s up to and exceeding $2,000. my question is: should i sell now or wait? again i’m sorry if this isn’t allowed in this sub. any and all help is very appreciated.
