SEC advisors says crypto harms minorities
Investor Advisory Committee to SEC ("independents" advising SEC on desirable policy to protect investors) recommends SEC treat essentially all tokens as securities and pursue aggressive enforcement… argues crypto harms racial minorities.
Notice, they NEVER beat on lottery tickets, even though that sells into the same demographic, because lottery money goes to the government and government grifters, so THAT'S ok.
But if anyone tries to get rich quick through crypto (that is, anyone tries to get rich without giving the Big Guy ™ his 10%), instead of trying to get rich quick through the lotto, well… we gotta put a stop to that!
