Sell at a loss?

So bare with me please.

I am a supporter of crypto. Invested, made some mistakes on the way and learned from that. Which makes the following extra difficult and I am seeking some input from this group I have grown to love.

I am currently in an opportunity (maybe) to buy a house. But, in order to do so, I need to step out of my crypto investment at a loss.

Even if the loss is not so extreme, something in my feels very resistant to step out of it. However, the opportunity to invest in a house is a great one for me.

I know you cannot get my situation 1 on 1, but what would you do? I expect crypto to give me profits again in some years and I always bought it for long term…
