Do you keep most of your cryptocurrency in a hot wallet or cold wallet?

For starters, each have their own unique benefits. Hot wallets are easily accessible, free, and user friendly, while cold wallets are secure, and keep your seed phrase from being accessed on an computer or mobile phone.

During the height of the bull run in 2021, I kept all of my cryptocurrency in a multitude of different hot wallets, as it was easy to transfer around and manage daily. I made sure to keep a burner with little to no ETH in it when interacting with smart contracts, and overall was safe using them.

Now, since we're in a bear (although some might disagree right now), I’ve since moved everything to a cold wallet that has no interactions with smart contacts or outbound transactions. My seed has never been displayed digitally and is safely written down. Funnily enough, it’s such a minor inconvenience to use that it’s almost a forced hodl. Overall, I do feel safer with all my assets in a cold wallet.

Anyways, what’s your preference? Do you use a combination of both hot and cold wallets from your day to day?
