How to set allowances in Gnosis Safe?

When using dapps, Metamask has token approvals/allowances integrated into the UI and I can edit it directly so that only sensible amounts are allowed.

However, when I was recently using the same dapp with gnosis safe, I couldn't edit the token approval limit directly. I had to edit it afterwards via revoke.cash. Does anyone know whether this is possible? Or does this need to be implemented so that it can be used?
