It all started with a relatively innocent post by /u/maxx3141 about crypto prices in a BTC ATM in Germany. A few Redditors saw how cheap crypto was in Germany, and immediately started making plans to travel oversees for some Arbitrage opportunities. Names hidden to protect Identities The ops in question realized that with Bitcoin being only 23K in Germany on the BTC ATM, they could buy in Germany at the 8% markup and then transfer to their family in the US who could then sell for an instant 5% profit and then transfer that profit back to Germany to restart the process. This is yet further proof that Reddit is changing the lives of its users. In just a few minutes these Redditors were able to formulate a plan to change their lives and take advantage of this once in a lifetime arbitrage opportunity. Hopefully the user in question is able to buy BTC at the advertised price considering how long it takes get citizenship in Europe and register to use the BTC, ATM.
