First time transfering crypto after one year, still scary as hell.

One main reason that I rarely move my crypto around, is the fear of losing it all while making a transaction. No safety net, lots of numbers and letters, my anxiety reaching unheard of levels. I could lose it all. It does not help that I keep reading about stories where people get hacked and their copy paste wallet address changes.

This is the reality of sending crypto. In comparison to sending something through my bank, it is so much worse. Maybe that is the price we have to pay for decentralization. If that is it, I am fine with it. And honestly, it's not that bad anymore. You get used to it, you can send test transactions and just have to be hyper vigilant for a brief moment.

Still I believe that this is a major factor why people keep most of their coins on exchanges. And it is a major factor why most people would never be comfortable in the crypto world. There are probably solutions out there that I am not aware of, especially being gone for more than a year. Please educate me and share your thoughts and experiences! Any blunders?
