Metamask hardcoded their privacy not-friendly RPC host

Infurio.io being the default RPC in Metamask for Ethereum network

It is known for some months that they updated their privacy policy and collect IP addresses of users and store them in a database with the wallet address and probably other information.

I added a decentralized RPC with a no-log policy and tried to delete infuria RPC: that's not possible anymore. Infuria is locked in Metamask. I can chose to use the other RPC service but I would like to COMPLETELY delete Infurio from my Metamask and be 100% sure no connections are being made to their services.

Metamask, why would you prevent us to do that?
