Madoff went to prison for life because of his Ponzi scheme, the same logic should apply to Sam Bankman-Fried

I don't see how this is any different honestly, except he got caught at a very young age (30) compared to how good ol' Bernard was caught when he was 70.

Isn't it interesting how these guys always tend to fabricate the image of a workaholic who abbhore vacations, an almost puritan ideology of working yourself to death…except that they let other people do it while they themselves take holidays in the carribeans in their 40 million dollar properties? Kinda reminds me of what tons of other incredibly rich people do. Anyways…just give him a few decades to think about it at least, I'm tired of seeing the media glorify crooks who could potentially destroy millions of lives if we let them do it.
