Just when we though that this whole story about FTX could not get any weirder, there is clearly a lot more to unravel and it will with time. Now we just got to know that FTX employees were very bound to their working place and SBF basically wanted them to work 24/7. Even recommending them to use sleeping pills and sleeping in the office. Tweet by SBF in response to TheCryptoDog As we can see from this old tweet from September 2019, SBF himself said to take stimulants if you wake up and sleeping pills if you need to sleep and you obviously should sleep at office. There was even a whole presentation about this by SBF to his employees. This concept just seems very grim, SBF was literally trying to lock in his employees and wanted them to work 24/7 for him, there also was not any company transportation service for any employees but they had to take their own taxis. This is also another reminder to not be mad on all FTX employees as they most probably had nothing to do with this whole situation but were just as much lied to as we all and furthermore they were working under poor conditions just to fill the pockets of FTX executives and SBF. submitted by /u/partymsl |
