Accumulate alts now or wait for new boys??

From what I've seen so far it is a prevalent opinion that most alts that we have traded during the last bull won’t be nearly as successful as some new coins. Similarly to the coins from 2017 bull run and those before them.

I just can’t wrap my head around the fact that this could happen to SOL, AVAX, DOT, LINK

One theory is that these coins have enough price history so that people know what is a possible price range of these coins so they have more realistic take profit targets… whereas if something is new and is in price discovery.. it just moons.

What are your thoughts on this and are you accumulating some of these alts or waiting for some new narrative, for some new tech.
