13 Reasons why you should never trust anyone (crypto edition)

  1. Anyone can pretend to be anyone on the internet

This one is for newbies. There are still many people who don't know how the internet works. You can replicate an influencer instagram account by using the same pfp and bot followers. There are so many people even to this day who get scammed by a person who they thought was a well known influencer but ended up being a random scammer.

  1. Some people are harsh, and so is the world

Scammers are true to their job. They don't give two f*cks if you lose all your crypto to them. They can act like your friend, then turn your back on you, taking all your assets.

  1. Internet is not as secure as you think

There are ways to find your geolocation, ip address, and even hack your computer so that you have to pay crypto to access your computer (ransomware). Trust me, I know people irl that got ransomware installed in their computer by a virus. Forutnately tho, they had back up files in a different hard drive.

  1. In crypto, if asset is lost, then its lost

Unless the scammer(?) returns the crypto back, you can not retrieve your funds back.

  1. It's your friend? Or family? Well, still think twice before you share your pw

Although it is not good to doubt your loved ones, still have in mind that you can technically get scammed by your friends and family. I know numerous cases in South Korea, from ordinary citizens to celebrities who got scammed by their family member and/or their friend.

  1. Influencers do not care about you. They care about money.

Shillers will get money for their promotion. But what about you? If you didn't invest, then good. If you did, I bet the influencer that you trusted and adored will not even know the loss that you suffered.

  1. Fake news

People believe almost everything on the news. TBH, many people believe anything on the internet. But news stations are also managed by humans, and as humans are, there is bias. Crypto news can be biased, and people can distort facts to make it seem trustworthy.

  1. There are many things we do not know about other countries

Countries like North Korea, Russia, and China, do we really know what they really have? North Korea has hacked so much worth of crypto such as XMR. And who knows what these countries have? Their information is disclosed to the world, and we only can speculate their advancements. And with those technology, these countries can hack crypto from whale's or exchange's wallets. (ex: quantum computer)

  1. Even companies are not trustworthy

Not much to say here. Examples are LUNA, Voyager, Celsius.

  1. Oh you think companies are not trustworthy? Governments aren't either.

Depends on where you live tbh. Governments are corrupted, and no matter what you say, there is corruption in every government.

  1. Future is unpredictable

You can make educated guesses, but no one knows for sure what will happen to the crypto market later on. Many people thought 100k btc eoy last year, well look at the world rn. I am not trying to spread fud but my point is that future is unpredictable, therefore, anything can happen.

  1. & 13. I might have to make a separate post about this, this post is getting too long lol. Thanks for reading 🙂
