How to safely claim and move ethw?

I hold my eth on ledger. I’m wanting to trade in my ethw for more eth if it can be safely done. I’ve trief reading up on replay attacks. Is this the only risk?

Are replay attacks a valid risk, or were they a possibility but are no longer a risk?

If they are a risk…say I create a new account on my ledger and move my eth into the new account. It retains the same mnemonic for account access purposes but then the wallet address where the eth is contained has changed. If I do this first, then move my ethw, would a potential replay attack then fail because the eth is in a different wallet address or does it need to be moved off of the ledger entirely?
