Looking for detailed and comprehensive under-the-hood guide to Ethereum

I am looking for a deep-dive into Ethereum. I am finding lots of articles with explanations along the lines of what a validator or smart contract is (like ethereum.org). I understand that already.

Really I am looking for something that goes into the nitty gritty and how everything interconnects on a technical level (but still accessible without having to have a degree in computer sciences).
