Q: Arbitrum/Optimism bridge security

Is the damage the same with Harmony bridge if the Arbitrum/Optimism bridges gets exploited? Can you bridge back to Ethereum Mainnet? Will ETH on the said rollup becomes worthless?

I'm planning explore more on the said rollups because of the campaigns (i.e., Arbitrum Odyssey & Optimism Quests).
