Can ETH be bigger than BTC in near future, with all the focus on climate and energy consumption?

I am curious if BTC can survive all the wrath of government and climate activists. My hunch is not. Not without making major changes to how mining is done. That may certainly impact BTC economics poorly.

On the other hand, with a successful PoS migration, ETH has all of sudden become a very attractive asset.

So I am very curious if ETH would flip BTC in market cap.

What do you guys think?
