Assuming Ethereum, now consumes 0.01 TWh/yr, the network is using less energy than the existing banking system by a factor of 13,900. Just assuming that ETH network is only used for the transfers and settlements, still it could be much more energy efficient means to do so. submitted by /u/jasz3217 |
