Crypto Royale is going multichain: Adding Polygon (MATIC) support today, Avalanche (AVAX) next month!

Crypto Royale is a browser-based, free-to-play, play-to-earn multiplayer game in which players compete for fame, glory and a little profit. Last man standing wins crypto. No up-front investment. No downloads. No signups. Get into a game in 30 seconds and win! The game is purposefully designed to be simple to play yet difficult to master.

It has been based on Harmony (ONE) and Crypto Royale is now adding support for more chains, right now Polygon (MATIC) is supported and next month Avalanche (AVAX).

Two major upsides:

  • Crypto Royale offers native token withdrawal for gas (at a deliberately unfavorable rate), basically making the game a faucet for each new network. So if you win a couple games, you have enough to withdraw MATIC to pay for DEX fees/transfers on Polygon for example.
  • It's a new way out of Harmony: Official bridges are still down after their hack since late June! Stablecoins are still depegged there. So now you can buy some ROY with your other assets on a Harmony DEX (most of the ROY liquidity is on SushiSwap now), deposit ROY in the in-game wallet, withdraw in another network (0.5 ROY + 0.1% fee) as ROY.

It’s making the game platform into a sort of centralized bridge between the supported networks, which is better than no bridge when it comes to Harmony 😀

ROY token address on Polygon: 0x68EE0D0aad9e1984aF85CA224117E4D20eaF68BE

You can find/verify it on the official token page: https://cryptoroyale.one/info/ROY.html

Crypto Royale launches on Polygon

Bonus: Crypto Royale also just launched Bullet Royale (https://bulletroyale.one/) in open beta, a new single player shoot'em up game. Unlike the base Crypto Royale game, you pay 1 ROY ($0.008) per game/run. It's pretty fun and uses the same color rules as Crypto Royale, but inside it's a fast-paced shoot'em up.

You can still earn some ROY in Bullet Royale (https://bulletroyale.one/info/rewards/) based on luck (few people are drawn randomly every day among players) and a big prize each week for the top players based on the weekly results.
