When eth merge happens, will we have two sets of coins at same value initially?

Curious if we are going to have both ETH and ETH2 or someone forks it too. Won’t the initial value be the same on both coins? Meaning whoever sells the now old coin or forked coin first can sell for current eth2 value before it drops?
