Should I buy ETH now or after the merge?

I'm looking to purchase some more ethereum, but was wondering what anyone here thinks is the best to do. My main choices currently appear to be either buy now and see what happens or wait for the merge and any changes in the market and then invest. currently own a small amount of eth (~1 eth), but looking to increase my investment as believe substantial growth will occur. Correct me if im wrong, but most people in the market seem to be quite bullish on eth in the long run? My main concern is just how the upcoming merge will affect this.

So the question is buy now or buy after the merge?
