Got hacked. Need help.

I just got hacked out of about $900 worth of ETH about a month ago but I just checked and noticed it today. I know there's probably nothing I can do about it now but I'm wondering how this happened. I never shared my 12 word password or gave anyone else my account. I'm just lost.
