Is there any relationship between Web3 and Software Defined Network (SDN), Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), Edge, 5g, or Cloud enablement?

Are there any research papers that talk about how Web3 has enabled (or can enable) certain new features in the space of Edge, 5G, or cloud enablement?

Also, are there any papers that talk about how SDNs and NFVs can play a role in supporting Web3 technologies, or (the other way around) how Web3 has enabled new paradigms in SDNs and NFV technologies?

I understand this might sound crazy but I just wanted to know if there are any possible research works that talk about such things. It’s totally cool if there aren’t any.
