How do I explain blockhain and Ethereum to a boomer?

So I talked too much at my girlfriends house and got my gf’s dad too interested in Crypto. I promised to send him a Mail Where I explain blockchain and ethereum. I cant find a way to do it other than using way too complicated and boring language. Anyone wanna help me out ? Thanks
