How do you decide what information is a legit concern or if it’s simply someone spreading FUD?

so concerning reports are coming out about every project, this past week multiple reports about Coinbase and USDC being on the verge of collapse. Yesterday and today Kucoin has been facing the brunt of these reports with many post stating that it's about to halt withdrawals, this wasn't helped by some users reporting USD deposits being frozen. Kucoin has stated that these reports are someone spreading FUD which could be true but others are making the argument that Celsius and Voyager made the same statements right up until they stopped withdrawals.

Who do you believe with these reports? and how did you come to that decision?

It's difficult to try and separate what is actual FUD and what is a legit concern about something that could end up costing you money.

Also looking back on this sub we can see post that were dismissed as FUD but turned out to be true within a couple of weeks after being posted, so how can the average retail investor on this sub make the correct decision?
