If I have a contract address, is there a way I can read the code on Etherscan or elsewhere?

I'm trying to figure out how to read the code from smart contracts already on the Ethereum blockchain and I'm not sure how to do it.

Etherscan has what's called a EVM bytecode decompiler that spits out code for a given contract, but I'm not sure how accurate it is.

Any help would be appreciated.
