What’s your favorite centralized exchange?

Been watching playoff basketball these last 2 weeks and I am amazed at the amount of advertising and marketing some centralized exchanges are doing which is great. Personally I love it. SO the other day my friend asked what exchange he should use to buy crypto. I obviously recommended one i like and use and told him to stay away from another that I have used and did not enjoy my experience with. So that got me thinking. Well, what about the others i haven't used. Its a pain in the ass to KYC with all of them so I am not going to explore more unless I hear some amazing reviews but if a friend asked you where they should start their crypto journey where would you send them to buy?

I'd be interested in reading some pros and cons of why one and not another.
