Best way to earn interest or stake Ethereum through DeFi?

So the SEC just banned “non-accredited” US investors from earning interest on Celsius. They did the same to BlockFi not too long ago. It’s safe to assume they will go after all of CeFi and exchanges offering interest on crypto assets.

My question is, as a peasant with substantially less than 32 ETH, what are my options in earning some interest on my ETH?
