Do you view Cryptocurrencies as money or as investment?

Do you think Cryptocurrencies will be used for paying things at some time in the future? Or do you view them as investments/store of value?

I think these two things often get mixed up. However, the goals of money and investments are in conflict: Money needs stable value and easy transferability, while investments should be based on some perspective of future returns and, ideally, should actually rise in value.

What do you think about this? I realize cryptocurrencies are really diverse. Feel free to talk about your perspective on specific coins/projects!
