I have a noob Question.

I have some ERC20 tokens and I wanted to transfer it from CEX to Metamask. Now since these tokens are only transferable through ERC20 chain, I am stuck anot wanting to pay Gas fees.

My question is how I can transfer them via Polygon Chain ?

And other cheap chains. Do coin's developers have to do something in order to enable this functionality or developers of other chains need to add support for that perticular token/coin ?
