Remember back when Solana supporters swore that this was the blockchain sent from heaven to replace Ethereum? Lmao.

I don’t even expect this post to surprise anyone anymore cause you could find similar headlines almost every 2 weeks.

Yes, Ethereum is sometimes criticized for has its problems with scalability but its not as fundamental as having the entire damn network break down (way too often while we’re at it).

Besides we all saw how easily these scalability problems could be solved with things like Polygon. They have a scaling solution for every damn things from Plasma tech, Optimistic rollups and ZK tech (SNARK and STARK).

Meanwhile, Solana’s downtime can’t be solved. The blockchain is internally flawed from the roots up.
